My name is Alejandra Téllez. On May 16, 2025, I survived a brutal attack at the hands of the man who was once my husband. That night, I was left with two missing teeth, a fractured nose, and deep emotional wounds. I managed to escape and seek help, and there were witnesses who saw what happened. I have chosen to speak out—not just for myself, but for every woman who has ever been silenced by fear.
What happened that night was not an isolated incident. For years, I endured emotional, psychological, and economic abuse in silence. I was manipulated, threatened, and recorded during mental health crises that were later used against me. Living with bipolar disorder, I was mocked and called “crazy” by the very people who should have supported me. I was isolated, gaslit, and made to feel like my pain didn’t matter.
I am now in the process of seeking justice and healing. But recovery—both legal and medical—comes with significant costs. I need help covering dental reconstruction, therapy, and legal expenses. This is not easy to ask, but I know I’m not alone. Your support means more than just financial help—it means safety, survival, and the chance to rebuild my life.
If you’re able to contribute, I would be deeply grateful. And if you can’t donate right now, please consider sharing this fundraiser. Every share helps amplify my voice and brings me closer to justice.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
