My son’s in foster care again, this time not of my doing. They want me to get a psychological evaluation with a parenting index done. The problem is, the place they referred me to doesn’t take my insurance.
Second problem, even though it’s ordered by the courts, the DCF funding department doesn’t want to pay for it, so I am having to figure out how to do it on my own. I need help; I’m barely making bills as it is. This evaluation costs $1800. I was thinking if I can get at least half the cost, maybe funding will pay the rest.
