Support Ailene’s Fight with Osteomyelitis

Hi, my name is (Carol) Ailene, and I am asking for any donations that will help pay for medical expenses that insurance will not cover.

For the past 4 years, I have been dealing with an infection called osteomyelitis that gets into your bones and destroys them. Eventually, I had both legs amputated above my knees. I have been in the hospital or rehabilitation for the past 7 months, and the medical bills are extremely high.

I will also have to have prosthetic legs made to be able to walk, or if that’s not possible, an electric wheelchair to continue being as independent as possible.

I would appreciate any help given.
