Hi, we are Jeriyah, Makayla, and Sylas Daniel. We are trying to raise money for our dad, Angelo Daniel. He became ill suddenly on May 30th, 2025. His blood sugar was 720. He had an abscess that required immediate emergency surgery. After the surgery, they placed him in the MED SURGE ICU at Fort Sanders. He was also septic at this point due to the abscess infection spreading into his bloodstream, where he spent 4 days in the ICU. He was able to step down to a regular hospital room on day 5. Two weeks after 12 days of being in the hospital, he had to undergo another major life-changing surgery for a colostomy bag. He now has an ostomy bag due to the abscess. Please pray they are able to reverse this surgery.
We are setting up this fundraiser because our dad will be hospitalized for the next 4-5 weeks, which totals 8-9 weeks in the hospital. As each of you know that being out of work for over 2 months isn’t easy. We only get to see him once a week because our mom has to work. Angelo requires IV antibiotics due to the abscess infection in his blood stream. He require no less than 4 more weeks. He is in a Specialty select hospital to help him recover and receive the proper wound care. He will also be coming home on numerous medications including insulin. If anyone knows Angelo. You know how much he hates needles! This fundraiser would allow us to pay for food and parking as well as get our dad something to make his hospital stay a bit more doable.
