I’m asking for help for my friends/family Atavia and her husband Keenan. Yesterday they lost their beautiful 6-month-old daughter Tay’Jah Grace. She passed away unexpectedly while she was sleeping, leaving them devastated and struggling to navigate this overwhelming loss. Atavia has always been a pillar of strength for her family and community, offering support and kindness to others in times of need. Wether its financially, raising others kids, providing shelter to others until their on their feet, teen moms etc. But Now she and Keenan are in grief they are in need of help themselves.
The sudden loss has brought unexpected funeral expenses and the challenge of simply staying afloat during this difficult time. If you ask Atavia if she needs anything, she may say no—but please hear me when I say she does. It’s hard for the strong to show weakness, and I want to let her know it’s okay to be weak right now. Supporting Atavia and Keenan will help ease some of the burdens they are facing, allowing them to focus on healing and honoring their daughter’s memory. As they also have 9 other kids they take amazing care of but also have to navigate the loss of their sibling.
I’m reaching out to the community to ask for support for Atavia and Keenan as they navigate this unimaginable loss.
