My son, Bruce Wayne, is a 12-year-old and has complete 3rd degree AV block. He is getting pacemaker surgery and a block placed on a hole in his heart. The surgery will take place in Salt Lake City, Utah, which is an 8 and a half hour drive one way for us. The Ronald McDonald House is full during this time and will not be an option. We will need to stay at least two days. We usually wouldn’t ask for help, but we are struggling. Thank you for taking the time to read our story, and any help is appreciated.
