Hello everyone,
A few years ago, my mom was diagnosed with kidney disease, which means her kidneys are not working properly. She gets dialysis three times a week to keep her stable. Unfortunately, now she has been having complications with her fistula, which is used for her dialysis. The right side heart valve is also not working properly. This is leading her to have poor oxygen throughout her body. She has blood clots throughout her body. She is currently in the CICU at MMC. She will be needing heart surgery in order to fix the problem,specifically the right side valve of her heart. This has put a financial strain on her family. We are asking for even the smallest amount. These funds will be used to cover costs like kidney transplant, heart surgery procedures that cannot be covered by insurance, and rehabilitation after procedures. She is an exceptional woman who has been through a lot. She is the best mother, sister, grandmother, wife, and friend that anyone could ask for. Despite her disease, she has always offered a hand wherever needed. A woman with a heart of gold. Her compassion and humbleness to give to those in need has changed the way we view life. Claudia is a true warrior who has fought many battles, and we are hopeful that she can get through this. We want to keep fighting to keep her here with us.
