Support Dad’s Recovery from Stroke & More

Over the course of 16 months, it has been a roller coaster ride for my parents, emotionally, physically, and not to mention, financially. They are not ones to ask for too much help, and neither am I. They will always lend a hand and give the shirt off their backs to help in any way they can.

So, around 16 or so months ago, a huge punch was thrown at my father. One that we all knew would be a long journey, but with the emotional support, he decided he was going to fight with everything he had. My father was diagnosed with lung cancer. Luckily, his doctor was able to catch it in time and start treatment within a short time afterward. Multiple trips to the hospital weekly for chemo, radiation, and appointments for other medical issues.

He has been a warrior through all of his treatments and has done his best to keep a positive attitude. Around Christmas time, we got the word that he was cancer-free.

BUT…

Within the last couple of months, more medical issues have arisen. With multiple stays at the hospital in St. Albans and Burlington for a stroke, blood pressure issues, as well as kidney failure, the medication he is on is through the roof with co-pays.

I wouldn’t be here asking for help if it wasn’t necessary, and I hate to, but I am asking now for a little help for my parents.

Please consider a small contribution to help ease some of the burden for my parents financially, or even a quick share would be helpful!

God bless all of you! Thank you, everyone, for your time and consideration!

Tranding Fundraisers

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
