My name is Donna Auguste, and I’m writing to you during one of the most difficult times in my life.
I’ve recently been diagnosed with invasive ductal cell breast cancer. It is very invasive, which means it must be treated as quickly and aggressively as possible. While I am doing everything I can to prepare myself mentally and physically for the road ahead, the truth is—I can’t do this alone.
Why I Need Help
I’ve been advised that I’ll need to step away from work for the next several months to undergo treatment. As an independent contractor, if I don’t work, I don’t get paid. I also do not receive ANY medical benefits and must pay for health insurance and all medical expenses entirely out of pocket. This makes it especially difficult to manage financially during this time when I need to focus solely on treatment and healing.
