Support Doug Pearson’s Fight Against Cancer

My name is Rosemary V. James. This fundraiser account is dedicated to my younger brother, Doug Pearson. In the past week, Doug and his family have endured hardship and received devastating medical news.

On June 15, Father’s Day, Doug went to his local Emergency Department due to abdominal pain, jaundice, and black stools. He was sent and admitted to St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington.

On June 16, he underwent a surgical procedure to place two stents into his pancreatic bile duct and tissue biopsies. An abdominal CT scan showed a mass on his pancreas. With blood work, tissue testing, and CT results, Doug was diagnosed with a malignant pancreatic mass with metastasis to lymph nodes.

On June 20, Doug will undergo an endoscopic ultrasound. He has numerous follow-up appointments next week, including oncology, to determine what stage his pancreatic cancer is and the recommended treatment.

Doug’s decades-long work history has been in masonry. He is currently unable to work and will not be able to return to work for months, if at all.

With a heavy heart and endless prayers, I’m asking you to step up and help Doug as your heart is led. All donations are greatly appreciated and will be used for Doug’s housing, medical care, transportation, and living expenses.

Please share this link on all social media platforms. Thank you for your donations, support, and prayers.

Tranding Fundraisers

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
