Hey friends and family,
I’m reaching out during a really tough time. Just one week ago, I was hospitalized with a serious and unexpected case of DKA (Diabetic Ketoacidosis). Over the last three weeks, I’ve lost more than 7 pounds and had no idea why—now, my body keeps losing weight no matter how much I try to eat. Mayo Clinic is currently working hard to figure out what’s going on, and one of the things they’re exploring is whether my diabetes is causing my body to burn through fat and muscle faster than it can use glucose.
Right now, I’m on multiple medications and insulin, and every day is a fight to stabilize my health. On top of that, I’ve been out of work for over a week, and the medical bills and rent don’t stop coming. It’s a lot to carry alone.
That’s why I’m asking for help. If you’re able to contribute anything—even just a few dollars—it would make a huge difference. Every little bit will go toward my rent, medical costs, and helping me get through this season until I’m strong enough to get back to work.
Thank you so much for your support, prayers, and love.
With gratitude,
Dustin
