Hello everyone. It is with a very heavy heart that I am starting this fundraiser campaign for my father, Fidaji Dzelil, who is dealing with a terrible disease we know as cancer.
My dad’s battle with cancer started back in May of 2012 when he was diagnosed with tongue cancer. He underwent a surgery to remove the tumor and a portion of his tongue. Round two hit in spring of 2024 when symptoms presented again which led to a second tongue surgery in the fall. Round three hit in January 2025 with a diagnosis of stage 4 Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the throat, lymph nodes and tongue. His diagnosis was devastating for our family. A third surgery was necessary to remove the 4″ tumor and reconstructed his tongue and operate on his throat, neck, and vocal cords. While still recovering from the surgery he has been having radiation and chemotherapy treatments.
My dad has been unable to work due to the surgery and aggressive treatment schedule. If you are able to make a donation to assist with the medical expenses it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!
