On the morning of Tuesday July 21st my mother’s life had changed in a way she never thought was imaginable. Her husband Eric Teal of 17 years had tragically passed away. He was a husband, father, grandfather, step-father, brother, son, and a friend to many. And a genuine friend at that. He had a heart of gold and would give the shirt of his back for a stranger. He was loved by so many and will be missed beyond belief. We are left with grief and so many questions that we will never have the answers to. My mother is doing everything she can to stay strong; however, her entire world has been turned upside down and she has a very long road of greiving ahead of her. Financially, she is left alone to cover her bills and rent. We are currently unsure of life insurance being able to cover the funeral expenses and whether or not she will be able to receive it at all. It could be weeks until she knows anything. We met with the funeral director and she is still in the process of figuring out how to pay for funeral services and cremation and it may be a few weeks before we can have a service for him. I making this go fund me in hopes that maybe I can help raise something for her to be able to pay her rent and a few bills for a few months so that she can get ahead for a little while and not have to work herself ragged while also grieving the loss of her husband.
