My heart is broken as I write this. My 21-year-old daughter was hit by a car back in April, which left her with a broken jaw and a traumatic brain injury. At first, we hoped she would recover, but her health has sadly declined. She is now on Hospice in a care facility, and I have been told that she does not have much time left. I am now faced with the unimaginable task of making funeral arrangements for my child, and the funeral will be a simple cremation.
As much as I hate having to ask for help, the funeral costs are more significant than what I can afford right now. I want to give my daughter the dignity and care she deserves in saying goodbye, but I simply do not have the resources to cover these expenses on my own.
