Support for Tessa’s Mom’s Recovery

Tessa Mae Tirador, a dedicated J1 Teacher at Jones Elementary School in Tyler ISD, recently traveled back to the Philippines to spend time with her family. Unfortunately, shortly after her arrival, her mother was involved in a serious vehicular accident and is currently in the surgical ICU. The family is facing mounting hospital bills, and the situation is urgent.

Unlike in the U.S., access to affordable healthcare in the Philippines is limited. While there is public insurance (PhilHealth), it only covers part of the cost, and many patients still need to pay large out-of-pocket fees. Private insurance is often too expensive or doesn’t cover everything. That’s why we’re asking for support, so Tessa’s family can get the urgent care they need without facing financial ruin.

Tessa Mae is not only a passionate educator but also a pillar of support for her family. Her mother’s unexpected accident has placed a significant financial strain on them, and they are in dire need of monetary assistance to cover the hospital expenses. The funds raised will go directly towards paying for the necessary surgeries, medications, and ongoing care required for her mother’s recovery.

Your support can make a huge difference in helping Tessa Mae and her family navigate this challenging time. Every contribution, no matter the size, will help alleviate the financial burden and allow them to focus on her mother’s healing and recovery. Thank you for considering helping Tessa Mae and her family during this critical period.

Tranding Fundraisers

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
