I’ve never done anything like this before. Those of you who know me know I hate asking for help, but I would also do anything for my dog.
This past week was incredibly scary as Ginny went from her normal, goofy self to agonizing neck pain and having a seizure. She was hospitalized for the weekend and diagnosed with meningitis on Monday.
70% of dogs with her diagnosis respond well to treatment and go on to live full and happy lives. We are hopeful that Ginny can be a part of this 70%. I’m so thankful to have pet insurance to help cover the cost of her treatment, but it doesn’t cover everything, and the bills are already adding up.
Ginny is my heart dog – she is the sweetest girl who loves to roll in the grass, chase squirrels, and bark at scooters. She is young and deserves to live a full life. Any donation will go to helping to settle her vet bills for her hospitalization and treatment. If any funds are leftover, they will be donated to the new emergency veterinary hospital in Rochester.
