My name is Jacey Orta. Two months ago I got into a dirtbike accident and sliced my liver open. I was hospitalized for three weeks. I went through 3 surgeries to repair my liver and now I’m the process of recovering. Even after being released from the hospital I have to carry around a blood bag and am unable to lift anything for the next couple of months. Because of that my job let me go which included my health insurance. After everything, I’m doing what I can to still support myself but without insurance and a job the medical bills are beginning to add up quick. Even though I’m unable to lift anything I’m still looking for a job, but in the meantime anything will help. I’m grateful to be alive and I’m trying more than anything to focus on recovery and my health.
