Hello friends, Steve Watson here, and I have a favor to ask of each of you. My niece, Katie Olson, has had Chronic Myeloid Leukemia for over the past 15 years. She has had her ups and downs, but tragically, she has gone from a chronic stage to Acute Myeloid Leukemia. She has been in-patient at M.D. Anderson in Houston for the past month. They have determined she will need a bone marrow transplant, but before that can take place, she will need to be in remission. This means she has to stay close to MDA for the next several months. Needless to say, this means she has to rent an apartment while she is in out-patient status so she can be close to MDA for her numerous medical procedures. Apartments near MDA are expensive, and she needs our help. She has to pay for the apartment plus expenses such as food and gas.
If you can help, I know she would appreciate it very much, as well as her husband Michael and the rest of her family. Prayers are always welcome, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
