Hi, my name is Kelsey, and I’m reaching out with hope in my heart and a lot of vulnerability. After years of confusion, pain, and unanswered questions about my body, I finally started getting real answers.
Recently, I was diagnosed with PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome) and a bicornuate uterus—a condition I’ve unknowingly been living with for years. After undergoing a hysteroscopy and a pap smear to get to the bottom of what was causing multiple month-long heavy cycles and pain, we received news no one ever wants to hear:
There had been cancerous cells that had developed after unknowingly living with HPV 16 & 18 for a long span of time. Thankfully, it was caught as early as can be, or so I am told.
The best course of action now is to proceed with a hysterectomy as soon as possible—currently scheduled for mid to late July. We are waiting on the confirmation of the date from the medical team. However, I wanted to go ahead and get a jump on this.

This is about my health, my future—and staying here for the people who need me most.
I’m a wife and a mom to two amazing teenage daughters, one of whom has already experienced the heartbreak of losing her biological father. I want to be here for the long haul—to watch them grow, to guide them through life, and to keep being the one who shows up when they need me.

What I Need Help With:
I’m hoping to raise $2,000 to help cover:
Out-of-pocket costs for the hysterectomy
Lost income during my recovery
Essential items to support post-op healing
I’m doing what I can to prepare, but I need support to get through this without putting my recovery—or my family’s stability—at risk.

How You Can Help:
If you’re able to donate, I’m so incredibly grateful. If you can’t, even just sharing this page can make all the difference. Every act of kindness counts.

Thank you for reading this, for sharing, for caring, and for holding space for me during this chapter. Asking for help is never easy, but I know I’m not walking this road alone.
With so much love,
