My name is Matt Martin, and I’m reaching out to you during one of the toughest times in my life. Recently, I was diagnosed with cancer after attending an appointment for what I thought was a routine double hernia surgery. Unfortunately, this turned into a much more serious situation when they discovered rectal cancer and a suspicious lesion in my pancreas after an MRI and a CT that needs immediate attention. The biopsy on the rectal tumor says it is cancer and I have to go to Pittsburgh for the suspicious lesion in my pancreas and have to get the station wagon fixed.
As I navigate this challenging journey with my health, I face an additional hurdle: my vehicle is in desperate need of repairs. To get to my treatment appointments in Pittsburgh and Altoona hospitals, I need reliable transportation, and the gas to get there.
The repairs needed include:
– Inspection of the vehicle
– New tires
– A new flex pipe after the manifold
– One new brake rotor
– All new brakes
Due to my ongoing health issues, including a past battle with Lyme Disease, Polymyalgia Rheumatica (PMR), and Torn Rotator Cuffs, my ability to work has been severely affected. I’ve endeavored to market online, but the workload has significantly slowed down, leaving me behind on bills and struggling to keep up with the internet fees necessary for my work and research.
I am truly humbled to ask for your help. The funds I’m looking to raise will go directly toward repairing my vehicle and ensuring I have enough gas to attend my treatment appointments, paying off my bills, and getting means of cheap communications for traveling. Every little bit helps, and your support could make a significant difference in my fight against cancer.
If you’re unable to contribute financially, please consider sharing this post to help spread the word. Your prayers, support, and encouragement mean the world to me during this difficult time.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story, and for any help you can provide. I appreciate each and every one of you.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Matt Martin
