Hi, Just about a month and a half ago, our lives were turned upside down when my husband Michael suffered a sudden heart attack. Luckily we were in the Emergency Room and the fast action by the nurses and doctors were life saving! What followed was a whirlwind of tests, tears, and the life-saving decision for him to undergo quadruple bypass surgery.
We were grateful that he made it through the operation, but the road to recovery has been anything but easy. He’s been battling pain, exhaustion, and anxiety while trying to heal—not only from open heart surgery but also from the incision where they removed a vein from his leg.
Now, just as we were beginning to find our footing again, a new and frightening complication has emerged: what appears to be a blood clot in his leg, traveling upward from the surgical site. We’re currently at the ER as doctors work quickly to assess and treat him. It’s terrifying, exhausting, and emotionally overwhelming for both of us.
My husband is the kindest, most hardworking man I know. He’s always been the one helping others. Now, he needs help—and I’m humbly asking for it on his behalf.
We’re facing mounting medical bills, lost wages during recovery, and now unexpected emergency visits and treatments. Every donation—no matter how small—will go directly to covering his care, medications, and helping keep us afloat as we navigate this incredibly difficult time.
If you can’t donate, please consider sharing this with your friends and loved ones. And most importantly, please keep Michael in your thoughts and prayers.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
With love,
Linda
