It is doubtful that anyone reading this has not been affected by cancer; whether, supporting a family member, a close friend or dealing with cancer personally. With a heavy heart I must share that my niece, Michelle White, was diagnosed with stage four metastatic breast cancer at 39 years of age.
Michelle has undergone a double radical mastectomy and is in recovery from her surgery. Follow on treatment will include radiation and chemotherapy. This treatment regimen will require Michelle to be out of work for an extensive amount of time. Michelle has insurance but as everyone knows this will not cover the complete cost of treatment nor will it replace her income while battling cancer.
With great humility and in full recognition of everyone’s own travails and day to day responsibilities, I ask for your charity. Please contribute what is possible to this deserving soul as she fights for her life. Truly, any contribution will help.
This solicitation addresses the reality of the cost of giving Michelle a fighting chance to recover physically, but thoughts and prayers are also needed for strength and encouragement. I can only ask that you contribute to Michelle’s fight as you are able.
Humbly,
Brenda Mitchum
