hello all,
I am 22 years old. in June of 2024, I was diagnosed with lupus (SLE) after being hospitalized for a week with what they thought was sepsis and nearly dying of acute respiratory failure. over the summer, I was hospitalized an additional two times, once for pericarditis and the other for a pulmonary embolism, for which I was put on blood thinners for six months. in March of this year, I was hospitalized again for cardiac tamponade and incidentally had to have my appendix removed the next day.
this disease has proven to be a very expensive one to treat and track and I would greatly appreciate any financial help possible so I can fight this beast. I haven’t been employed since January and have not had success in finding another job yet. I unfortunately have almost $2k in outstanding medical bills. I would greatly appreciate any donations.
