Hey y’all!!
This is my good friend, Nikki, who I’m trying to help out in a time of need.
She was diagnosed at 17 with Mitral Valve Prolapse, a weak heart valve. This weak valve is now presenting with Moderate Beginnings of Heart Valve Failure at the age of only 46.
She has battled the challenges with this issue throughout her life and never let it get her down. However, things have changed over the past few years. She is struggling immensely while dealing with daily symptoms of severe fatigue, nausea, migraine headaches, vertigo-like symptoms, and severe full-body pain, including muscle and joint fatigue and pain. Somehow, she keeps going, and honestly, I don’t even know how she does it all!
Before I go further, I want to tell you a little about Nikki…
She absolutely LIVES for her daughter, doing everything to give her the world by providing precious memories in their moments together. Nikki is always putting her daughter and others first and works to create joy with everything they do!
When she’s not with her daughter, she continues to take care of others as an In-Home Caregiver for the elderly, hospice, disabled, Alzheimer’s, and dementia patients.
Back to the medical stuff…
Over the last two years, things have taken a turn for the worse due to many setbacks, including being misdiagnosed. Thankfully, Nikki has found a new, amazing medical team who quickly found the cause of her condition!
At the behest of her physicians, she was strongly advised to take a step back from work in order to reduce her stress. By focusing on her health, it will hopefully help decrease her daily symptoms.
This puts her in a very precarious situation. Continue to work to make the bills and ignore her health, or not work for the timeframe being requested by her medical team and rely on assistance?
Nikki is a strong, proud mama and she does not want to ask for help; as she is normally the one to do the helping! Sooo I’m asking instead.
I’m hoping you can find it in your hearts to donate and provide some sustainable help to an amazing, hard-working single mom! This help will allow her to attend multiple upcoming medical appointments, partake in treatments, physical therapy, use suggested medications (that can cause side effects), and a likely surgery in the near future.
If nothing else, please contact her and send her a little love to let her know she’s not alone.
Thanks for listening y’all!
Please reach out with questions!
