On April 4th, my friend and I were victims of a hit-and-run while crossing the street at night. The impact left me with a shattered tibia, pelvis, and clavicle, requiring two major surgeries and a long road to recovery.
The physical pain has been intense, but the financial burden is overwhelming. Between the ambulance ride, surgeries, anesthesia, medications, follow-up appointments, and ongoing physical therapy, the medical bills are more than my family and I can manage alone.
I’m incredibly grateful to be alive and that my injuries didn’t result in permanent disabilities, but we need help to get through this. Any support—no matter how small—means the world and brings me one step closer to healing.

El 4 de abril, mi amigo y yo fuimos víctimas de un atropello mientras cruzábamos la calle de noche. El impacto me dejó con fracturas en la tibia, la pelvis y la clavícula, por lo que necesité dos cirugías importantes y ahora enfrento una larga recuperación. El dolor físico ha sido intenso, pero la carga económica es aún más difícil. Entre la ambulancia, las cirugías, la anestesia, los medicamentos, las consultas médicas y la fisioterapia, los gastos médicos son más de lo que mi familia y yo podemos cubrir por nuestra cuenta. Estoy profundamente agradecido de estar con vida y de que las lesiones no hayan causado discapacidades permanentes, pero necesitamos ayuda para salir adelante.
