I was completely healthy until I got an infection with fungal meningitis that triggered a very rare autoimmune disease called HLH. I was bleeding out, going into DIC, then needing blood and platelets multiple times a day. Completely under and non-responsive for 32 days. Centennial Hospital and my team of doctors and nurses were amazed when I came around; all my major organs were starting to improve. Doctors said I had less than a 10% chance of surviving. God was in control and has blessed me physically and cognitively these past 3 weeks. Gradually getting better with Home Health and my doctors.
