ShaShamoni was in a car accident Sunday June 8th, 2025 that left her fighting for her life. She was ejected from the vehicle and sustained serious injuries. Her spine was broken in half, which has left her paralyzed from the chest down. She shattered her left arm, broken ribs on her right side, broken nose, blood in at least one of her lungs, damaged spleen.
She has had surgery to repair her spine to correct alignment. It entails 12 screws, a titanium cage to bridge the pieces of her spine together where the broken pieces couldn’t be savaged and metal rods on each side of her spine.
She was scheduled to have a second surgery on her left arm yesterday. They were unable to perform the surgery due to ShaShamoni developing an infection. They are unsure of the location of the infection but have started her on antibiotics the help.
She is currently at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
ShaShamoni will need help keeping her bills paid and help with medical expenses and supplies she will need while she recovers.
