Hello, I am Sheila Hackleman and I am hoping to get some additional help; either with your gift of prayers, or a donation to help Tanya Lawson, the mother of my grandson, Jack Lawson-Hackleman. Jack just lost his father, my dearest son, John Hackleman, to cancer a year ago. I just recently spoke to my ex-daughter-in-law only to find out she, Tanya Lawson, is currently having to fight this horrible disease now herself. She is the sweetest person, and I know my son will be watching over her from heaven as they remained friends even though their marriage ended.
Tanya is on session 3 of her chemo treatments. She has stage three ovarian cancer that has metastasized. She will need surgery after she’s done with the chemo to remove any remaining tumors. As if that wasn’t enough, she also has a totally separate kind of cancer, what is called “Lacrimal Sac” cancer, of her left eye. It is her doctors’ hope that they can save her eyes. That separate treatment course is 7 1/2 weeks of radiation.
So, because of fundraiser, while I am praying for her strong recovery, at least I am able to also reach out to others for the same gifts of prayer and if you can also help her with a donation, she would so appreciate the help. She is already down to only a few days of work and from home. Thankfully, her employer is trying to work with her so she has some income as long as she can. Right now, she has insurance through her employer, but that will be something she has to deal with on her own shortly. Being a single mom is hard enough; being single and sick is a huge obstacle. Thank you for any help and all your prayers.
