Hi everyone! I’m writing this on behalf of Hannah and the rest of the Adelmann family.
Last fall, Tim came down with the Big C. He was diagnosed with liver cancer, and has been fighting the good fight in typical Tim fashion, complete with dad jokes that have Hannah’s eyes near lodged in the back of her head from rolling them so hard.
Unfortunately, Tim has developed an infection that is very tough to fight off with a liver that’s already working hard to get better. He’s been in the hospital for 3 weeks, and the last thing the family needs right now are any concerns or anxiety about the hospital bills racking up.
As I’m sure most people reading this know, Tim is an incredible person through and through. He’s a pillar of Bar Harbor community. For nearly 20 years, he ran the best deli in Bar Harbor. Simply, he’s someone everyone is happy to see around, whether you catch him at Hannaford’s or see him riding his dirt bike around town. He’s the first to crack a joke, to light up any room, and is always so generous. From the moment Hannah and I became friends in high school, I have always felt welcome in his home and a part of his family. Whenever I’m in Bar Harbor, he’s one person I always make a point to go see, and love to make Hannah jealous that I do! No matter what he does, Tim is an incredibly hard worker, a devoted dad, grandfather, and friend.
The goal of this fundraiser is to help ensure that his hard work can be solely focused on fighting for his health, not to pay the mounting medical bills. Any amount is immensely appreciated, and if donating isn’t possible for you, we appreciate you sharing this fundraiser with your friends and family.
Asking for help is hard, but suffering alone is harder. Please join me in showing the Adelmann’s their community is here for them with love and support!
