Hi, I’m Willow. Sorry for not showing a picture of myself, not out to my parents and so don’t want to put my face out there. I’m fundraising for professional laser hair removal to help with gender dysphoria and take another step toward feeling more comfortable in my skin.
Body hair—especially on my legs—has always been a big source of discomfort and distress not just with the dysphoria stuff but also sensory wise. I’ve tried many options over the years, including shaving and at-home treatments, but they’ve either been ineffective or caused pain and frustration. I would not really recommend those crystal hair removal things. After doing research and speaking with others in the trans and nonbinary community, I know that professional laser hair removal is the next step that makes sense for me.
The cost for a full set of sessions is more than I can afford on my own, so I’m asking for a little help to make it possible. I’m not expecting miracles—just a bit of support from anyone who feels moved to help.
