Help Iaffa Rebuild After an Unimaginable Loss

If you know Iaffa, you already know one thing: she would never ask for this herself.
She’s the person who shows up. The friend who checks in, lends a hand, makes you laugh when you need it most, and quietly puts everyone else before herself. She is fiercely independent, incredibly hardworking, and one of the most genuine people you’ll ever meet. Which is exactly why I’m asking on her behalf.

After working at Bellagio from 2005 and in 2022 Iaffa and April, packed up their lives and moved from Las Vegas to Seattle to begin an exciting new chapter together. On July 11th April passed away unexpectedly, leaving Iaffa to navigate the unimaginable loss of her soulmate while trying to rebuild a life they had only just begun.
For more than 20 years, Iaffa called Las Vegas home. She dedicated herself to her work, built lifelong friendships, and recently took a leap of faith to pursue her dream of becoming an aesthetician. She and April were excited for this new adventure a fresh start filled with hope, love, and endless possibilities.

Instead, Iaffa now finds herself grieving the love of her life in her new city, far from the community that has always surrounded her. On top of the heartbreak, she’s facing the overwhelming financial reality that often follows an unexpected loss. Basic living expenses, bills, and the cost of simply getting through each day have become an added burden during the most difficult season of her life.

Knowing Iaffa, she’d tell you she’s fine. She’d tell you not to worry. She’d find a way to carry this weight on her own if she could. But no one should have to.

If Iaffa has ever made you smile, supported you through a difficult time, shared a laugh, offered encouragement, or simply made your life better by being in it, this is an opportunity to return even a small piece of the kindness she’s given so many others.

Every donation, every share, and every message of love reminds her that she’s not alone. Your generosity will help give her the time and stability she needs to grieve, heal, and slowly begin rebuilding the future she and April dreamed of together.

Thank you for loving Iaffa as much as so many of us do.

April believed in Iaffa with her whole heart. She encouraged her dreams, celebrated every success, and reminded her every day how loved she was. While none of us can fill the space April leaves behind, we can surround Iaffa with the same love and support that she has always so freely given to others. Let’s help carry her until she’s ready to stand on her own again.
