Former manager, colleague, and friend to many, Ken, is facing a significant health challenge. He recently received a diagnosis of intermediate stage prostate cancer. For those of us who have had the privilege of working with Ken, we know he has always been a source of strength, a truly dedicated leader, and a supportive presence to everyone he encountered. Now, it’s our turn to extend that same care and support back to him.
On July 16th, Ken will undergo a Targeted Prostate Cancer Ablation procedure to remove the cancer. This chosen method of treatment has an over 90% success rate, offering a highly promising path forward. While we are all incredibly optimistic about the procedure and its outcome, the journey and recovery will undoubtedly bring unforeseen expenses.
This treatment and subsequent follow-ups require Ken to travel approximately four hours away from his home for care. The costs associated with this travel, including fuel, housing, and meals, along with additional medical expenses, and recovery support can add significant financial strain during an already challenging time.
In an effort to ease the burden on Ken and his family, and allow him to focus on his recovery, please consider making a contribution. Every contribution no matter the size, will make a difference in Ken’s journey to a full recovery. Even if you’re unable to contribute financially, you can still help tremendously by sharing this request and offering words of support and encouragement.
Ken’s spirit during this time is truly inspiring, as he shared with me, he is “so grateful to God for taking me this far and for his mercy and grace.”
Thanks,
Andrea (and a team of supportive colleagues, friends, and family)
