Supporting the Garrett family through unimaginable loss

Josh Neese - Supporting the Garrett family through unimaginable loss

Our dear friend and coworker, Amy, and her husband, William, are two of the hardest working people I’ve ever met. They are also the most caring people and would help anyone they can and would literally give them the shirt off their back. They have been facing one hardship after another. In recent months, they have dealt with their own medical challenges, resulting in mounting medical expenses and missed time from work.

Now, their family has been devastated by an unimaginable tragedy.

Their son, his wife Lisa, and their young daughter were involved in a serious automobile accident. Tragically, Lisa passed away due to complications from the accident, leaving behind a grieving husband, daughter, and family who loved her dearly.

Their son remains hospitalized in Hattiesburg with multiple injuries, while their precious granddaughter has suffered injuries, including a broken clavicle and a broken arm, and is in the hospital in Jackson. As they navigate this heartbreaking time, Amy and William are caring for their granddaughter while also supporting their injured son, and doing everything they can to keep their family together.

The emotional weight of this loss is overwhelming, and the financial burden continues to grow. Between medical expenses, travel costs, missed work, and the many unexpected needs that come with such a tragedy, the challenges are immense.

We are asking anyone who is able to consider helping Amy and William during this incredibly difficult season. Every donation, no matter the amount, will help ease some of the financial stress so they can focus on what matters most—caring for their family, supporting their son and granddaughter, and grieving the loss of Lisa.

If you’re unable to give financially, please consider sharing this fundraiser and keeping this family in your thoughts and prayers.

Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and support during this heartbreaking time.
