Thelma thankfully came home after missing for a week! We don’t know how she made it by herself. She returned with a fever of 105, very skinny, with a necrotic back leg and a broken foot at the bottom of it. The girl has a strong will to live
She was taken to the ER the Saturday that she returned, where they confirmed our suspicions—she will have to have the leg amputated to stay alive. She has an appointment for this surgery with her loving doctor on Tuesday, 6/17/25. We are so grateful she has made it this far, and will make it to and through her surgery!!!
From the ER, we (my mother and I) left with a bill of $460. Her surgery is expected to be about $1,400.
As two single adult women, me a soon expecting mother, I’ve made this page to ask for any help to raise the funds that will save the life of my beloved kitty cat. Any and everything is appreciated
