Victoria’s Battle: A Mother’s Plea

My name is Gabrielle Arrigo, mother of Victoria Jade Arrigo. As many of you may know, our sweet Victoria has overcome many obstacles since birth. Born at only 3 lbs 11oz, we spent 70 days in the NICU working on feeding and ultimately had to undergo G-tube surgery to be discharged. We found out our precious girl has 2 genetic conditions, one being super rare with her being 1/73 worldwide. She has experienced seizures and other medical issues due to her condition. After only 1 month of being discharged, we were back to get surgery for a VP shunt in January after developing hydrocephalus. Now we have found out that our baby has severe congestive heart valve due to severe mitral valve stenosis with regurgitation. Her condition is unable to be managed with medicine and will be undergoing open heart surgery in an attempt to repair the valve and give her the best shot at life. Our girl is such a fighter and has been through so much already. Any donations will go to her current and outstanding hospital expenses as well as living expenses while 2 hours away in Saint Petersburg. Also to continue providing care and support for her two sisters, Olivia (4) and Giada (3) back home. Thank you all so much for your love and support ahead of time.
